Hey fam and welcome back to dumb rich! I am back from my reset — I was on a girls’ trip in Hudson, NY that was truly sublime. I’ll definitely give a breakdown of the trip in another post. We stayed at Wildflower Farms. I hope they hire me. Or sponsor me. Because I could sell the place to anyone. Anyway, it was the perfect getaway as I have now returned to the chaos of two weeks left in tax szn.

It feels like I was in Europe a decade ago, but it actually was just a month (-ish….???) ago. I am finally getting my tax refunds back from my shopping escapades which is lovely. Free money?!?!? I literally can’t believe that system works. I stuffed my papers into a sketchy airport mailbox and said a prayer. Anyway, this reminded me to do a post on all of the items I browsed and purchased so you know which are the best brands to buy abroad and which are better to buy in the US.

I was surprised that some brands were nearly the same as the price in in the US (even with tax!). On the other hand, some items had nearly a 50% savings. We will cover jewelry (Van Cleef, Cartier), leather goods (Bottega and Prada) and also some RTW and fragrance (Loewe, Saint Laurent). You already know I purchased the Prada cow bag (again, not giving it to my future daughter-in-law) but there was also maybe more…. oops!
